How do I win a free manicure?

The nail bar will be set up and sampling sodas throughout the day

For a chance to win a prize, customers will need to buy a 4-pack in store and sign up with their contact details.

For each entrant, we spin the tombola and pick out a numbered ball. The customer then gets given the matching numbered nail varnish bottle from the back wall, which has their prize on it.

When can I have my free manicure?

If you win a free manicure, it must be redeemed on the day. At busy times there may be a wait until a nail artist is free.

Can I just pay for a manicure?

All our treatments are free and available to winners only.

Will I be able to get a manicure if I already have nails on?

To ensure we can complete treatments within the 30-minute slot, we require all guests to arrive with bare nails. If you arrive with gel, BIAB or acrylic already applied, we may be unable to carry out the treatment.

Does the treatment include a removal service?

We are unable to offer removal services at the pop-up (including BIAB, gel or acrylic). Please arrive with bare nails so we can make the most of the treatment.

Can I choose any design I want?

We have two set options to choose from to keep appointments running smoothly. Please select from the nail menu provided.

Do I have to get nail art stickers?

Nail stickers are optional, if you win a manicure, you can choose to have it without them.

How long does the treatment take?

Each appointment lasts 30 minutes.

Can the treatment be redeemed at Townhouse salons?

This treatment is only available at The Nail Bar by Living Things pop-up and cannot be redeemed at Townhouse salon locations.

How do I remove the nail art stickers or gel?

Stickers & Polish:
Use acetone and a cotton pad to remove them easily.
Gel Removal:
We recommend professional removal, but if doing it at home, follow these steps:
1. File the shine
Lightly file the top coat to remove the glossy layer.
2. Soak
Place an acetone‑soaked cotton pad on each nail and wrap with foil.
Leave for 10–15 minutes.
3. Gently remove
Slide off the foil and gently push away the loosened gel with a cuticle stick.
If needed, re‑soak for another 5 minutes.
Never force it.
4. Hydrate
Lightly buff any residue and apply cuticle oil and hand cream.
Important: Do not peel or pick gel polish, this can damage your natural nails.

Is the gel service covered by the Townhouse Flawless Finish Guarantee?

No because the Express service is a shorter, maintenance-focused treatment, it isn’t included in our Flawless Finish Guarantee.

How do I remove them?

On bare nails: gently peel off.
With polish or top coat: remove with standard nail polish remover.
